Alright fellas,
it has been a while since I posted on these boards, but something has been happening for a while now that I cannot solve on my own. It is long to explain, but I would appreciate all the advice and help i can get!
Day 1
So quickly to fill you in on the backstory: Yesterday was the end of my finals and a bunch of the lads and I went out on the piss (WOOOHOOOO). I thought it would be a laugh to see if this german girl that I know fancied a few drinks.
The german girl and I know each other through social groups and therefore it was easy to build attraction the first time we met. plenty of IOI's (atleast thats what I think) lots of Kino on my part and she gave me her number without me asking for it. SCORE.
So I had been texting her a little bit, always trying for the meet up but never directly saying come down and have a drink with me (First fark up prior to yesterday). If that doesn't make sense what I mean would be for example: with her knowing that I was studying really late in university etc "bring me some food? Bitte schon?" with her reply "Why the fark would I be so nice! " me saying stuff like " because your taking a day off from being mean?" she plays along and its all fun and game, even manage a bit of push pull, i think.
So I digress, last night she turns up at the pub where me and my boys are playing pool. Its snowing outside, and I make some stupid remark like "your cute when your wet" she laughs and its all good. Anyway, the pub is all good, even with the boys trying to out alpha me by attempting some sort of pick up, a few of them speak german themselves and obviously she lapped this up, 3/4 knew that we had a thing going while the other was completely oblivious and kept hitting on her. (second mistake? I wasn't completely dominating them alpha wise?). There was plenty of kino on both of our parts, stuff like her hand on my knee and the other way around, her pinching me/punching me etc etc. At one point I believe (not so great at spotting these) that she attempted a sh1t test, by saying in a sing song way "you liiiiikkeee mee" that plus her german accept was cute. But I reply "huh? I like everyone dude and they like me back! C'mon you know that!" (mistake 3?)
Anyway, this pub closes around midnight but I knew of one that closes a bit later. so we head back to mine so I can dump some of my stuff, when I leave I realize that I had forgotten my gloves so I attempt to take her hand as its warm, she was having none of it (UH OH!).
She makes a comment that rings in my head here however. She says that shes realized that we had never had a serious conversation, and she can't really tell me anything without me "taking the micky" out of her...I assume this is because I fail at any stage past attraction haha. But I make a conscious effort to reel in the banter and have a decent convo.
So we get to the pub and she buys me and her a bottle of wine to share and we grab a few tables near a radiator because everyone is wet and cold. so the radiator is too hot for her apparently and she shoves her feet under my legs as they are "warm apparently". Lots of smiles here whenever I glance at her. also a lot of cheering etc.
We start talking about life and stuff, and what our summer is going to be like. She is quite adamant that I take every opportunity to go to germany and see her etc.
The boys are still here at this point and we were planning to set a gaming session with beers movies and food for the next day (I.e today) which she seems keen on being part of.
She also asks me where my favourite place is in Cardiff at the moment, instead of making an offhand comment I actually tell her exactly where it was. She seemed keen on that and I suggest that we go there on the weekend as she has been saying she wants to see more of cardiff etc etc.
Anyway, the pub shuts, and I still haven't had a chance to make a move. So we start walking back and the boys are heading back to theirs in her direction whilst i live the opposite way. She says she will text me about today and the weekend. and thats it. I was extremely confused at this point as i thought it would be a sure thing tbh but alas it was not to be so.
So I wake up this morning and shoot her a text asking about her cultures in the lab (she is a lab student etc), as I remembered her saying that she had to be up early to check on them (her excuse for not going into town as was the original plan). and no reply yet haha!
Anyway, I could really use some advice on this matter. If tonight happens there should be some more kino whilst watching some films and sh1t but I am really quite unsure what to do next.
She leaves at the end of the month but then is returning back in April (coincidentally its my 21st then aswell haha)
Day Two
so i met said German h 9 today at her house for predrinks, all was good we had some banter but nothing personal. NO Kino on her part throughout the night
We went out to a cheapy club. I was dressed smart via preselection that she knew about via dinner that I had that evening.
Anyway, we are at the club and we are buying rounds. I, at this point am not getting any oppurtunities other some casual kino in order to escalate. from previous advice I attempted a serious convo but due to the the club being crowded this did not work. anyhooooooo, one of her housemates leaves the club, leaving her and a friend with me. I open another Set and have a good conversation about life with them (they are a quite a bit older than me) and tyhe girl and her friend decide to leave. I follow and subsequently here I am typing away.
So we may be meeting up tonight (friday), going for a trip (saturday) and then a pub crawl (sunday), yet I need some help with atleast K-closing this bird and then transitioning forward!
