Okay let me start off saying this is my first post so correct me if I'm doing anything wrong. Alright so...there's this girl in my grade who I'm friends with. I'm trying to find out if she likes me so I can take it a step further but it's complicated. She thinks that me and this other girl have a "thing" but we really don't and I told her that. Likewise I've seen her being flirty with other guys and I've asked her if her and another guy are talking and she said yes but I could kinda tell she was lying. I think she's only saying that to try and get me jealous. We always ask to go eat and do stuff with each other like twice a week after school just us two, but she still hangs out with the other guy sometimes. We went on a group date and she was being kinda flirty with me at some points but the other guy was there and she was barely talking to him but she told him to come since we're all friends . We always talk about doing so many things together like going off to college and were always playful and flirty. Once at the beginning of the year we even acted like we were going out just to see what others would say. Idk help me with any tips or advice to get her to like me.

She likes you. Escalate. Quit being a typical little high school boy.

Remember. Yes means yes. Maybe means yes. No means yes. Screaming and scratching at your face means no. Follow that set of rules and you'll always know how to proceed.
