Long story, but hope you guys can help me out.

Working on this studytrip with hb8, during meetings and afterwards we hit it off pretty well, joking around and light kino. Little banter over text and she told me she noticed on Facebook that i was going to à techno partyl she was also going to attend. She told me that we should definitely meet up somewhere during that day. This outdoor rave started at 1300 and around 1600 she texts me to ask if i was already at theparty. Didnt get her text as reception was horrible all day. Texted her back telling at what stage i was chilling. She texts, omg where are u i lost all my friends. Didnt get her massage untill much later so i told her that we should meet up way later at à particular place. She doesnt show up but texts that she doesnt know where the place is i texted her about and tells me where she is on THE premises. I end up randomly walking in to her 15 minutes before the end of the party. She insists on me joining her for the 30min trainride back to the place where both live, even when i tell that i have to pick up stuff at a friends place that wouldbtake me another 30 min, as the friend shes with isnt going back by train but sleeping with her fling. We decide to meet up in 20 min outside the gates, so i could get the friend whos got my stuff at home and for her to say goodbye to her friend. My friends want to go to an afterparty so im hesitating what i should do. I meet the chick outside the gates and tell her that i want to go to the after party and that she could join me and my friends. She tells me she wants to go home, but her friend tells her that she should go to the after with me. Then shit got weird, she tells me she doesnt know what she wants to do and she cant make up her mind. Then she gets a call and it sounds like she is meeting up with somebody. I ask her wheres shes going and hesitantly she tells me she hookedup with some old guy and that it was weird and bla bla, so i tell her that if she changes her mind she can call me on a friends number as my phone was empty and that i was going to hit the after. If i went with her back to our town i wouldve been supplicating which wasnt an option. Obviously i felt fucked over. Next morning i check my phone and an hour after leaving her she texts that she was still in town and an hour after that she texted that it was shitty that my battery was dead, as i told her i was low on battery. During the day she texts me again asking me how the after party was, that she went drinking in the same town after all eventhough that was a bad call, and asked me how i was feeling after a long day and night of raving. I decided too cool it with the contact and only told her that the afterparty was great fun. She replies with a thumbs up emoticon. Couple of hours after that she randomly asks me for the phonenumber of a dude whos working with us on the studytrip, while i know she has his number either already in her phone or in her email and that she was working on her computer. I only reply with the number keeping it cool. Half an hour after that she starts asking me how she can remove a cd from her macbook, i decide to ignore and she replies some time later that she figured out.

I dont get what this chick wants, is she just seeking attention or is it something else? How to proceed if i still want to get with her? Can somebody explain me what this girl is thinking? I feel she is/was trying to use me....

Dude.....the HB was definitely interested. You just had some logistical issues. on the train ride back I would have begun to escalate, simply because you are going to her house to get your stuff right? So she would have been all escalated up and you would have been in her house. bingo. But that being said, if you didn't escalate on the train ride, and made it boring, that kind of kills the attraction. I think because an opportunity wasn't taken by you she accepted other plans, and now has noticed the awkwardness and is a little confused herself on what to do next. I believe you could try to game her again, but personally I'd learn from this, find another target, and don't make the same mistakes again. I hope this helps.
