Me and my girlfriend are currently in an open relationship.
I mostly use her for "preselection" nowadays.

Problem is every time a HB finds out I have a girlfriend she becomes interested (if she isn't already) but withdraws.

So in order to hook up with other girls should I :

1) break up with my current girlfriend or

2)should I continue to use her for "preselection" while denying there is anything between us ?

3)Or simply admit I am having an open relationship ? (though most girls aren't ok with this, here in Romania)

Not a lot of women in America are okay with the "open relationship" either. Likewise once most women find out you have a girlfriend then you are labeled as being off limits. Now if you and your girlfriend go out to pick up a girl then that MAY work cause they can instantly see you actually have her approval and its not just bullshit from you.

You obviously want to be with other women, and this situation isn't working out for you to well in attracting others. Sure pre-selection is helpful and damn powerful at times but when you take it to the point of being in a relationship then it's not as much because women don't want to interfere with your present relationship...well at least the majority don't. There is a very small percentage say 5-10% who may be open to what you want.

You can continue to chase the minority and continue your present relationship, or you can change things.

So it's either I continue this relationship and go after overconfident and open-minded girls (which are very, very few here in Romania especially in the social circles I run into) or I break up with her AND remain friends so that I keep a part of the "preselection" status.
