Intresting. I noticed someone said that using emoticons ( ":)" ";p" etc.) = fag. Why?

Because that person doesn't use them and they think that their way is the only one that works.

Text game can look many different ways. Emoticons indicate approval, positive feedback and attention. Their overuse makes you appear needy, emotional and clinging.

There are plenty of ways to use emoticons correctly.

"I think I saw you with another girl after me last night... Are you a player?"
I would respond: " ;) "
