Why did that chick want to keep talking to the fat, bearded guy instead of just letting him walk away? Then when he asked for her number, she said she had a boyfriend. WTF? Did she just want him to flatter her with his attention?

The two finalists in season 1 and 2 never got told "I have a boyfriend," did they?
They were the best looking guys in their seasons.
