In this 3 minute video, I give some examples of DTR, Defining The Relationship; when to do it, how to do it and when and how not to do it.

Defining The Relationship (DTR) speaks for itself.

Whenever a guy meets an HB, they fuck, become fuck-buddies and eventually enter into an LTR, a guy should DTR in his interest.

He should lay out the cards on the table as to what kind of relationship he desires: open, MLTR (dating more than 1 girl at a time), etc.

He shouldn't make the mistake (as usual) to NOT DTR early. He should do it early as possible in the first week or 2 of the LTR. Any later, he looses that power play.

@Timo- Well that was exactly my point. It's for the guy to redefine or define the relationship from the beginning.

Waiting to do this down the line will have been too late. Even a month is too late because the girl would've already settled into her role. That's why it's difficult to introduce 3-somes to LTR down the line.

So you can't DTR if you're just talking to a girl, you guys are both interested in each other but you guys haven't actually been intimate yet, do I DTR when we start getting intimate or...

Good question PUA-Paris.

I'd say that it depends. If you're sensing that it will go the route of an LTR, then I don't see a problem with letting her know if you were to be with her (or any girl), you would expect this that ,etc.

However, I would absolutely not do this with a girl I'm not intimate with yet. I would want to risk scaring her off with relationship talk.
