Ok, things with my Ex of 7 months ended badly (obviously), been broke up for 2 months, and I cut all contact just over a month ago, blocked on FB, deleted number etc.

It basically it ended because she choose another guy over me because I acted like a pussy, although I was sleeping with her while she was dating this other guy and then made her break it off with him for me, then we didn't trust each other, mutual break up...then she fucked the guy straight away and now they are together, (although he fucks off back to his home country in a couple weeks). Last time we spoke I told her to tell the guy she was fucking him around or I would (bit petty, but I was pissed off and thought he deserved to know).

I've been getting laid and dating other girls. The ONLY contact over the last month in order has been

1) Her coming over on a night out 2 weeks ago when I was with another girl (who was hot and deffo made her jealous, I kind of went a bit out of my way to make it obvious), I was drunk but basically she said something about not wanting a bad SPAM then started telling me her dad has been asking about me (we really got on) and he said that we should get back together...I remember being polite but fairly reserved.

2) She text me a couple days after the night out saying something like the SPAM was bad the other night and she wants to be civil and hope I understood what she had said on the night (I was drunk so don't remember it at all really). I didn't reply.

3) She unblocked me on Facebook but didn't add me as a friend (it's all private so she couldn't see anything).

So I kind of forgive her for what she did although it wasn't right, I allowed her to treat me the way she did, and I learnt a lot about myself. This is where it gets soppy, but this girl is my first love, and I'd like to leave things on a good note, since I could not see her for a long time. (I'm leaving to go to a postgrad course in a different area for 4 years in 2 weeks time).

I text her today for the first time asking if she wanted to get coffee, she said shes back home can't, then a couple other texts and got the feeling she was dodging me.

How should I go about getting her to meet up so we can just have a civil conversation and just clear the air before we both leave? I'd like to just basically be friends with this girl, she knows me better than anyone although I don't want her back.

EDIT: Also friends with Ex's, what is your guy's opinions?

How do I bring up us meeting up, I tried texting about just meeting up for a chat, didn't see to work, do I just come out in a text and say can we clear the air over coffee sometime this week, or should I ring her?
