So, turns out the 'kiss' was actually with another girl at a party while she was drunk so she was just trying to make me jealous im guessing. although she hasnt texted me again since 5pm-ish so im not sure if breaking the No contact strategy was a good idea. still gonna give it a couple more days though.

Yeah, im starting to realize that as well. Im trying to take this as a learning experience. Although she was texting me first, saying "i miss you" and rescheduling, I ended up asking her to hangout every other day or so. I also steamed at her a little (played it off as kidding) for not making time for it. Which is pretty not alpha, and definitely tarnished her image of me. I went from "tough, but sweet 'player'" in her mind to beta male.

considering just texting her that we need to end this for the reasons you mentioned.
