Anyone uses SS/NLP in other languages other than english?

I wonder how you do the embedded commands. Because in english the normal verbal form of "to feel" is spelled the same as when you put it like "you feel". But in other languages such as spanish it isn't.

So, for example, in spanish you should use it as "sentir" or "usted siente"?

Thanks

Anyone? I'm pretty sure you guys use SS in other languages, no? How do you translate the patterning language so it's still effective?
How did you overcome this problem?

I don't know how to speak any other languages, so I wouldn't be able to really help. But, what sucks is that you won't be able to fully utilize some of the ambiguities in English. For example, you can't use Ross's line:

"Are you a roller, a tosser, or a folder?"

In English, tossing could mean 'tossing the salad' (a sexual thing).

I've also been looking at this problem as the majority of people in my community speak Afrikaans. So, I figure that as long as the command stays in the present tense you should be able to pull it off.

In my language it would just take a little extra effort to make sure you are constructing your sentences in a way that sounds normal and innocent but still deliver the command. With practice it should become normal I guess.

I have done it in spanish as I am fluent in both english and spanish. It is not a copy paste method, many things you would use in english would sound really wierd in spanish. And even so I am sure that from region to region things change too so it does require some knowledge of how people in that region communicate. Remember that we are taking advantage of how people communicate so in order to transmit a message you have to know how the person receiving it would interpret it. Hope it helps.

dtomassino,
How do you structure the embedded commands in spanish? Can you give me an example?

Thanks

Well, direct translations probably would not work, but the fundamentals will.

You may have to come up with phonetic ambiguities specific to the language, but tonality, imbedded commands, future pacing, tag lines, pacing and leading should still work.

Getting her to start visualizing, accessing internal body sensations, emotional connections, and eliciting her deep beliefs and values should still work.

People can be hypnotized in any language. The unconscious can be programmed in any language.

Understand what the pattern is doing and you can do the same thing in most any language.
