And really as embarrassing as it is for me to say not even a first kiss. This obviously is a problem...or at least to me. Well for awhile I was wondering what to do about this whole thing and then while looking on the internet I found PUA's. Well needless to say I decided to try it...if nothing else it might just be a good experience. But well as the title suggests I'm new to the whole thing, and I was wondering if there is anyone out there that could give me a direction or some pointers for starting out.
I don't think I'm horribly looking, and I'm in good shape so physically I think I have it. My problem is my social awkwardness with really everything. I'm shy, extremely and I'm also kind of a loner. This has led me to not be able to talk much to anyone much less girls. For some reason I can't carry on a conversation or keep it going. Everything I say ends up turning weird and awkward. To put it bluntly I fail at anything social which has left me to be the odd one out. I also have a meek personality and really I can't even defend myself. So thats pretty much it, I'm hopping to change at least a little with this. If anyone has any pointers to get me started it'd be much appreciated.

What you've listed is not as uncommon as you might think.
I'd recommend getting a copy of the Game by Neil Strauss. Despite working with celebrities, he wasn't popular with women but he's now one of the best pick up artists because of improving his lifestyle.
His book has everything you need to start from the bottom.
Good luck and I hope that helped.

I've heard that 'the game' has canned material. Is it really helpful ? What about david deangelo's double your dating ?

I'm not too clued up on David DeAngelo. My friend is, I'll ask him to get back on here and let you know.
