I've been coming here off and on for a few months now, so I suppose it's time to start posting. I am a 29 year old white dude from Indiana. I don't really consider myself a PUA so much as a student of attraction theory and male/female interaction. I guess I'm just really fascinated by it.

I got into all this stuff maybe two years ago. I experimented with online dating and upon logging off the site I was using, I clicked a link that introduced me to some material by David Deangelo. The rest is kind of history, I have read quite a bit of stuff and after finding the online scene it's been a bit of information overload. Sometimes I find it kind of hard to really step back and focus on the things I really should as far as self improvement just because so much different material interests me.

Anyway, I stumbled on this site a few months ago when I was bored one afternoon and was texting with several different people. I jumped online and googled "text message game" and the first hit was a post on this board. After reading, it was the first time I considered joining a forum and trying to interact with others on this topic. I'm really a loner when it comes to this stuff offline, most of my friends are either married or in relationships, or just not into women with the same level of interest.

Overall, I consider myself pretty confident and comfortable around women. However, my biggest setback lies in the approach. I do well when meeting people just happens naturally, but to walk up and do it cold.. That is the single thing I want to master but can't seem to get comfortable with.
