Well I recently talked to a friend, and he happened to be reading The Game. It intrieged me so I read the first few pages, and as you could guess I'm hooked! I don't know very much about the game of pu, and not knowing a lot of the lingo and jargin used around here doesn't help either lol. The point is that I was considering buying and reading The Game myself; until I read a post that suggested a different book better than The Game. If anyone knows of some books that are great for begginners let me know. I sure am glad I'm here!

Oh, and the name's Steven.

Hey Steven,

Welcome to the game!

Anything by mystery or style is gold...

http://www.amazon.com/Pickup-Artist-New ... 857&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.com/Mystery-Method-Be ... 857&sr=8-4

I have read both of those book and their great.

A tip someone told me when I started, balance the learning with practice, and take action.

Hey welcome to the board!

The Game was what got me into reading about PUAs and so forth.

It's an interesting read, a lot of interesting techniques that can open up a variety of ideas for you: Push pull, negs, NLP, Routines, DLVs, etc. It introduces a lot of the words used around the Pick Up community, and it's a good of book as any to start. I'd suggest reading it anyways, as though there are more comprehensive pick up books, The Game is(I felt) an introduction to the community, as well as an interesting read regardless if you get 0 ideas from the book(which is impossible if you read it).

I've been reading Vin DiCarlo's Attraction Code, and it's a nice read for anyone, whether they're starting or continuing.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll read The Game, and go from there. Even though I don't know anything about the techniques, I've been doing my research on the internet and watching seminars on youtube and stuff. I think it's awesome how I know very little, but now I'm instinctively picking up IOI's and trying my hand at some kino when interacting with girls.

I also got to thinking.... And I thought that someone should think of a Dutch Bro's game, like a drive-through approach to the all the HB's that work there. Someones probably already posted something like that and I just haven't found it, or maybe it's just a matter of applying some other game method to the situation.
