Hello. I'm a 17-y.o. down in Florida, Brazilian ethnicity. Light-skinned, brown hair... usually the only giveaway as to my background is my accent and my Portuguese. I'm still in high school, a junior to be precise.

A few days ago, I broke out of what has essentially been a 2-year-long case of oneitis. The subject and I tried to date, once in freshman year and now over the past month or so, but I just happened to be smitten by the most overstressed, analytical girl in the school. An HB8 or HB9, easily, but she over-complicates shit to the point where the very idea of a relationship stresses her out. Perhaps worst of all, I threw away an opportunity for a relationship earlier in the school year because of some perception I had that she reciprocated my interest at the time.

But I digress. I'm here because she made it clear recently that she can't handle the stress of a relationship, and after my own stress trying to deal with her concerns over the past couple of months, I was readily able to discard my near-love sentiments and realize the value of a PUA education. So, here I am. Somewhat of an RAFC (I wouldn't say I'm frustrated, and I've had a couple of short flings involving kissing/hand-holding, but I'm far from being able to pick up girls on a whim) and definitely a nerd. I don't have a nerdy look, but I can come off as one depending on what I talk about.

I've looked around the forum a bit since Thursday, and I've seen plenty of good advice that I think I can apply fairly well. I'm hoping to start with the Newbie Mission tomorrow, if I have the balls to pull it off. If I succeed, I'll certainly post about my victory/failure on that topic. Anyway, good to join the community. Here's hoping I can become an effective Gamer soon enough.
