Hello, I'm from Colorado but currently live in Montana. I'm a 19 year old pre-law student at my first year in college (technically a sophomore) and I was only recently exposed to this enthralling new world. I stumbled upon "The Game" last week after reading Neil's bio on Motley Crue, and already a fan of his, decided the game looked way interesting. I finished reading it yesterday, and to be honest, it's blown my mind. I feel like I've discovered a new world to some degree. Anyway, this is all completely new to me, so I can't really talk about my favorite methods. I was reasonably succesful with women in the past, but I've always lacked something. Now I know that I'm nothing more than a persistent AFC with lots of cool hobbies and that happens to be attractive. While I've been able to make things go my way before, I usually end up as the ""just friends" nice guy. You know how it goes. As far as hobbies, I'll probably be able to learn from a lot of you, because I have enough to relate to most people in some way or another. I've got an addicting personality, so once I try something, I go all out. So, I'll just make a list: Snowboarding (13 years), rock climbing (which I've done well in competitively), riding my four wheeler (Suzuki Z400 for those who care), hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, skydiving (really only done twice) and playing guitar. I say these not to brag, but as an indicator of how bad my game is. Despite being really good at a lot of cool hobbies, I'm not good with women. So, here are my goals. I'm not desperate just to get laid, I've got enough admirers from my respective hobbies. What I want is to be able to attract women that I actually like, those that do what I do and match me intellectually, and I want to be able to keep them from putting me in the friend zone. I've always been considered smart and funny (scholarships, lots of friends, blah blah blah), but it doesn't seem to matter-I always see guys far less interesting than myself succeed with women way more easily than me, and when it comes down to it, what I really want is to beat them to get what I feel I deserve. Hopefully this doesn't all come across as navel gazing, because if I was so great, I wouldn't be here. But here I am, ready to learn. I identify heavily with Neil Strauss, albeit younger. I'm a writer (I have my own newspaper political column) and I'm ready to learn as much as I can. Thank you all, and I hope to become a part of your world.
