Hey,
To start with, I'm mainly here for some advice. I'm a fan of PUAs and far from one. My future is kind of up in the air right now as I am unemployed and moving around the country. I'm sure I'll be more interested in sarging once I settle somewhere for a while, but right now I'm interested in what could be called online sarging. I'm on OkCupid. I found some good advice about messaging on OKC in these forums, but I need help with the OKC profile. I have some good tips to get girls interested enough to read my profile but I'm just not getting enough of a return. I'm assuming it's the profile. It's below. If you could give it a read and make some scathing remarks and suggestions I'd appreciate it. And ask any questions that might fill in the blanks. Thanks guys.

My self-summary:
I'm complicated in some ways and simple in others. Yes I'm an easy going guy who loves to chill and have fun but I'm also driven. I'm a hard worker and I care about those that are close to me. I like to sleep in, but I also like to get up early. I enjoy appreciating art but I also enjoy making fun of it. I love road trips and seeing new places. I like hiking to locations that are far away from civilization. I don't make a habit of talking about politics very often. I'm not a sports fanatic. I do enjoy a good football/basketball/baseball game but I couldn't tell you any stats about who or what I'm watching. I will say that by default I am a Chicago fan. I like living in the peace of the country side and in the bustle of the city. I like swimming in lakes but not the ocean. I enjoy getting tasks done, but I'm an expert procrastinator. I like being a gentleman. I'm pretty well traveled and want to continue visiting more countries. I don't know the answers to life but that doesn't stop me from carrying on. I have had set backs in my life, but I know that if everything was perfect I wouldn't appreciate anything. I look for experiences in anyone that crosses my path. It could be good or bad but anything is better than tedium.

What I’m doing with my life:
I've recently moved here looking to start my career. The job market for graphic design and new media is much better here than where I'm from. I already have a bachelors and some grad school under my belt and am looking to take advantage of that. I'm one of the lucky few who can say that I absolutely love what I do. When I'm designing for a project or something, fourteen hour days can just fly by. The sad thing is that with this economy it's hard to find decent work in this field. When I have time I like to spend it at the beach, at the movies, at bonfires etc. And in the midst of all this I am trying to find a girl to share life with. I feel like I'm a much better person when I am with someone because she helps me think outside of myself and not be selfish. I know of people that have had success on OkCupid and finally thought to myself, "Why not me?" When you move somewhere completely new, it can be surprising how hard it is to meet new people. I'm hoping OKC will help.

I’m really good at:
I'm a pretty good artist, I have an eye for what looks good. I'm a good driver (I have a chauffeur's license). I'm a problem solver but I am also good at listener. I do think I'm a good conversationalist. I'm a good test taker but a bad student. I'm good at meeting new people and making them feel comfortable. I'm a decent poker player. I'm patient. I'm not very good at figuring out what I'm good at. This whole section makes me feel like I'm patting myself on the back.

The first things people usually notice about me:
Well, if it's when a person first sees me, they probably notice that I'm a big guy. Six feet, three inches with broad shoulders, 260 lbs and a 38 in waist. If we get to talk a little, people probably notice that I try to be funny and sometimes succeed.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food:
Can you really pick a favorite anything? One week I'll really like a certain food or movie or book, and the next I'll have moved on to the next. I have a feeling that discussing favorite books, shows, etc would be better via conversation rather than just viewed in a profile.

The six things I could never do without:
These aren't in order of importance, fyi
1. My car. I have the need to be mobile whenever I want.
2. My iPhone. It's become a part of me. Yes, I could survive without it but I never want to.
3. My faith. It is the foundation of my morality, life philosophy, and what keeps me going when things get bad.
4. Friends, family, friends that are practically like family, family that aren't just family but also friends.
5. The outdoors. It bugs me to spend an entire day inside.
6. um... clothes. There are just some situations that it is inappropriate to be without them.

I spend a lot of time thinking about:
Life, and that which makes it great and that which screws it up. There is a saying, "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it." One of the worst realizations for me is when I know that I have repeated the same mistake.

On a typical Friday night I am:
I make it a point to go out on Friday nights. I also like variety. I usually don't do the same thing twice in a row. Going out for a movie, going out to play pool, I actually like plays and operas, paint ball is fun, volley ball, going out to eat, shopping, book stores, volunteer, take cooking classes, tour wineries/breweries, go to a hookah bar, etc. Basically whatever is available. Except for bowling. I just don't get the attraction. I'll go to be social though.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit:
I am a closet bungee jumping enthusiast that can't go for more that a week without flinging myself from high places.

Not really. You can ask, maybe I'll tell. Here's a hint: it involves sex, lies, money, spelunking, and iced tea with sushi.

I’m looking for:
Straight girls only
Ages 20-28
Near me
Who are single
For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating

You should message me if:
Hah, if you don't like sleeping. If we start communicating we probably will talk late into the night! But also if you like to talk, or are lonely, or looking for a friend, a confidant, a silly or serious conversation etc. Give it a shot.
Also, only message me if you know how to chew with your mouth closed. I must insist on this.
And only message me if you are capable of comprehending that there is no such thing as a perfect guy.
And if you don't like being treated like a lady, keep on moving.
