This time last year I was the stereotypical AFC; I had almost no confidence, I thought dating was the only way to get girls and I had one-itis with nearly every girl I met; I put women on pedestals.

Luckily for me a friend turned me on to a book called The Game, she said her friend read it as a joke but it helped him, so I figured why not (I'm sure you've all read it). I bought the book and read it in 2 days, I was hooked and within the first week my confidence skyrocketed and I haven't looked back since. Since March 2010-March 2011 I've hooked up with more girls than I had the previous 20 years of my life combined, not to mention my # has tripled!

Recently I've strayed from the forums and haven't been reading up as much as I used to. Last week was the one year mark since I had read The Game and because it changed my life so much I thought I owed it myself to re-read it, which I did. I still love it and it makes me realize how much better my life has been since reading it. As Style said it's not just about hooking up with women but improving other aspects in your life such as social skills, confidence, looks, and health.

I don't consider myself a PUA but I'm well on my way. I've decided to come back to the forums and catch up, learn new things, and of course provide any information and insight I can to fellow PUA's in training.
