Hey, new to the forum!

I am recently single (about 2.5 months), and am back into the dating world. After some early mistakes, I think I'm getting the hang of it but have a lot to learn.

I currently do online dating, and I think I'm pretty good at that, once the date happens I'd say they are interested somewhere in the range of 60-75% of the time, whereas I'm generally interested closer to the 20-30% range. However I could definitely use some work at getting the initial date to occur.

The main thing I want to work on however is how to just approach any woman on the street that you find incredibly attractive. I've felt myself becoming more aware of attractive women...yesterday while walking around I counted five situations where I really wish I had the skills to just say something. I figure even if my success rate is somewhere around 5-10%, there are a lot of beautiful women out there, and so this is very good. So yes...my goal is to get over this, and to be able to just approach women. I believe that once I learn how to get over the mental blocks, I will have the capacity to be very good at it. Being in steady relationships for so many years of my adult life has made it not necessary for me to learn these skills, and now I see how valuable they can be....not just in regards to picking up women, but towards ones overall level of social confidence. (ie these skills will be very valuable even once I am in a committed relationship)

So teach me all the secrets please? Anyway today I am going to go for a walk, looking fancy and stylish, remaining very aware, trying to make eye contact at, smile at and occasionally make small talk with women. The small talk is more likely to come in stores where it's natural to do so, as I am not yet ready to approach someone on the street.
