So here's the story fellas.

I have had 9 girlfriends since 18 when I really got started. They all seduced or indicated they were interested in my semi-awkward ass first, and they were all pretty hot, some exceptionally so. I've been in a relationship pretty much nonstop and now I am 27 and single again, the last one being 4 years long. I am determined that the next female I get seriously involved with be top shelf and picked by me. I don't care if it takes 10 years.

I am only partially interested in casual sex. I mean it's ok, but I can't go up and down like that. All I really want it to be able to nail down a girl that I PICKED, not one that picked me. I am SICK of dating chicks that I can get opposed to the ones I want. Think of me like Sweater, except less awkward. I am also exceptionally determined.

The necessary checkmarks are there: I am very successful, CEO of a startup, but humbled by it. I am 6"0' / 160, skinny and I may not be a model, but I'm reasonably acceptable looking. I am confident and daring in my professional life and somewhat the same around really close friends. Around women or social groups I am not totally familiar with, I'm timid and borderline awkward, and I think my biggest problem is that I fail to bring value to a situation.

I'm not ready to dive into sarging head first. I need to focus on becoming the value giver and the center of attention first, that's what I think is my biggest problem.

So I'm wondering: any specific resources on bringing value to others, more specifically by invoking positive emotions within the other party I'm speaking to? What I'd really like to be is the guy that comes into a room for 5 minutes, talks to a group and splits, and four people are asking his friend what he's doing later and where he hangs out, because he was just a force that men and women alike could feel the positive energy coming off of. I have mastered this professionally, which makes it doubly frustrating that I can't personally.
