Hey Gents --

Been lurking on the boards for a while, and I'm very impressed with the community and comradary here. I'll be getting more and more involved with the community over the next several months, offering my years of experience studying social influence and social psychology for those who would like to learn.

My interest lies not in the "how" of PUA itself, but the "why": not "how to get a woman into bed", but rather "why do certain scripts, triggers, and physical actions so effective at persuading the fairer sex?" This is where my passion lies -- social engineering, social persuasion and influence in social situations. I love social gatherings, and the psychological principles which strongly persuade the masses.

I look forward to talking more with all of you.

I like your approach. I agree that the social psych part of it is very interesting, I have studied sociology and psychology in college and found that many of the theories can be applied in the "field".

The How and Why are pretty cool, but the attention and practical application has its own benefits.

I am looking forward to your findings and critiques.
