Just got a divorce and I wanted to get some game. I never was very good at meeting people but after looking back I don't think I did that badly. Most of the time I didn't get the people I wanted though but sort of settled for what I could get. I certainly fit the model of the AFC in my approach techniques.

It seems like most of the women I dated before getting married were friends first and the relationships took the predictable course and were short lived due to my wimpyness. One interesting thing is that when I first met the women I married we weren't friends and I was rather aggressive in my approach. It was during a time when I stopped caring so much about the outcome and just went for what I wanted... and I got it! 12 years later I get divorced and now I find myself caring about the outcome to much again and I can see how it cripples my game. I still keep trying though hence the user name.

Currently trying to work the dating sites and having no luck yet. I have passed on 2 situations in the real world because they looked like they could be or turn into a problem and I dont need that right now.

I want to develop a natural approach because I really want a girlfriend rather then just a lay. I know that attitude doesn't help my game but Im trying to be honest with myself about what I want. Perhaps being recently divorced I should toss that idea and just think in the short term but its hard to bring myself to that place. Or perhaps Im trying to hard to find a replacement for the ex wife and I know that doesn't help or work out either.

In any case Im here and ready to learn!
