| I found this forum and just thought it would be cool to discuss social dynamics and relationships with other people.
Although I'm aware of the various PUA advice out there, I am mostly skeptical of all the marketing claims and I've been mostly doing my own thing. I don't really need help with my game, but I love to discuss the finer points of psychology and social dynamics. Most of the stuff I do and discuss comes from a "natural" perspective, but that's not to say I don't understand the underpinnings of what's going on. Basically, I understand the nuances and I prefer to talk about things in natural terms so that everyone's on the same page. I'll give an example:
forget "game", don't think of your going out as gaming people, or playing a video game where each approach is a new mario episode. Instead, think of putting yourself "in the game". You know, when someone hasn't dated for a while, they say they've been "out of the game" for a while? Well, that's just it. Being IN THE GAME is basically immersing yourself into a certain world, learning the language and communication that goes on in that world, making friends, and doing it together. Think about learning Japanese. At first, you may not be so good, and people won't be interested in spending a lot of time with you. As you really learn the language, though, you can captivate, engage, and delight other people, because now you have the tools. Once you learn the language, you have a chance to express your own personality. You can connect with people. Talking with you can become fun! This is what BEING IN THE GAME is. So go out with guys who are good with women (give value by hook them up with something they need), make friends with women, and be IN THE GAME. Everything else will come with experience.
