I think I'm your typical guy when it comes to talking to girls although I do have a lot of issues on risks of social embarrassment. I've also had girlfriends in the past and I was recently dumped by my girlfriend of nearly 2 years that I loved a lot.
Despite having experience and confidence with relationships and sex, I have issues with engaging women (or rather picking them up). Practically every girl I have been with have made the first move or even directly told me of their intentions.
My biggest mental have been issues of feeling judged due to being Asian in a country that celebrates Caucasian features and because of my height (biggest self-image issue) at 5feet 6inches. I'm a decent looking guy in fairly athletic shape and feel fairly confident for the most part on most things in life. Yet, I feel as if I have no experience and confidence in actually picking up girls. The most I can manage is talking to a girl at a coffee shop or a friendly gathering while I feel like a scared, awkward teenager his middle school dance when going to night clubs or bars with my more confident friends. I'm hoping I can become more confident, get some fundamentals on talking to random girls, and to basically find my own groove. I hope to learn a lot here and eventually be able to offer own inputs later on.
