My name is Mark and I live in Florida. I just turned 37 Saturday the 29th . I am right at the beginning of my second divorce, my wife and I separated last month and were together for nine years. So here I am , 37 years old , presently out of work , getting divorced, I have a 13 year old son from my first marriage that I have custody of , and here is the kicker, currently living with my parents. Now I know some of you are already thinking , " you don't have a chance dude " . Well that's just not good enough for me. I'm not going to lay down and die !! And before you say it , I know I have a lot of work ahead of me and probably should not be concerned with women right now. Well here is the problem, I LIKE WOMEN!!! So here it is. My goal : Socialize , rebuild confidence, meet new women , practice my pick up skills , learn new ones, and lets see , have I forgotten anything................ oh ya , GET LAID!!!!! What I'm working with: In the last year I went from 250lb to 180ld so that's helping my confidence a lot. I don't look my age , hell for that matter I don't dress or act my age either ,( It's just a number right ?) Most people say I look somewhere between 27 and 32 on average with an occasional plus or minus. I think it has something to do with my German / Irish decent , Blond hair, blue eyes ( which I get most of my complements from the ladies on) and not much facial hair so I keep a clean shave. I would say my style is cocky / funny, but its not an act or something I've learned , its just me being me. So let me tell you about my most recent pick ups. Went out Fri night for the first time since my separation with actual intent to pick up a girl . A couple of friends took me out to a club and I got a Little drunk, really just a little! I talked to some girls in the place but really didn't get anywhere , the closest I got was with three girls that were standing at the bar and I had them laughing and kept there attention for five minuets or so and they kinda lost interest and I ran out of material. When we were leaving I'm "walking" (using that term loosely) out of the club and I spot this cute little thing standing out front with another girl and a guy. I locked on target , and fired " hi , whats your name" she says " Brittney" my friends come over and we all make small talk as a group. Finally I come out with my intentions with Brittney " can I get you phone # so we can talk about a good time for me to pick you up for dinner?" to which she responds " give me $20 " This almost throws me off but I come back quick with " if i give you $20 for your number all I'll be able to afford for dinner is McDonald's , let me keep the $20 so I can take you someplace nicer" that gets her laughing and I pull out my phone. she gives me her number , in fact she put it in my phone for me as I was having a little trouble with the sensitive touch screen ( dam Evo ) just a little drunk , I swear! Now here is where everything goes wrong! walking away my buddy says to me " you know that girl was only eighteen " Now before you say anything , she did not look eighteen!! So I tell him he is full of shit , but he insists that she said that. Now during the small talk the subject of my birthday comes up and everyone in the group ( including Brittney ) knows my true age, in fact she was skeptical and I confirmed it to her. The next day I find Brittney on facebook and sure enough , she is eighteen and , I think , still in high school ! and sure enough I get a text from Brittney a little latter , " Whats up birthday boy ? " NOW BEFORE I GET ANY HATE MAIL!!! I explained to Brittney that I was sorry , I had been drinking and did not realize she was so young and that I did not think it was a good idea for us to take things any further. she was a good sport about it THANK GOD and I haven't heard from her since. For those of you that are thinking that I'm stupid for blowing her off let me say shame on you , I'M A BASTARD (just ask my wife) BUT I'M NOT A F_CKING BASTARD!!! Now , moving on to Saturday night. I got two more numbers. the first from Lyndsay . I'm sitting out side the bar and see this girl walk up , stop in the front and start texting someone . As she turns and makes eye contact with me I lift my arms up and say " here I am " and she approaches me and asks what I said . This time I say " you don't have to text me , I'm right here" now she says " I'm trying to find my friend, she was supposed to meet me here " To this I stand up and muster the straightest face I can and respond " do you think we should organize a search party? " she gives a little laugh and says "no , I should be able to find her " ( I know!!, I know!! I'm losing her here) so again with a straight face I come back with " You know , I don't want to alarm you,but their has been a rash of Ninja attacks around here lately, I'm really starting to worry about your friend" that gets her laughing more and then I ask her name , a little small talk and she says " well I better go find her " Let me stop and describe this girl to you. Mid to late 30's , jet black hair to about mid back, wearing a tight fitting mans (wife beater) tank top NO BRA!!! Nice boob job , and it was a bit on the chilly side in the sunshine state that night! pink g-string peaking out the top of her equally tight jeans , just oozing sex, Ya! I'm not letting this one get away!!! In desperation I throw out " You know , I'd feel a lot better about this if we exchanged numbers. That way if I see her I can call you or if you find her you can let me know she's safe. otherwise I'm not going to get any sleep tonight worrying about you two." She laughs again and asks me for mine and then calls mine from hers and says see you latter. I know , I'm thinking the same thing you are , " holy shit ! that worked ? " The next thing I know Hillary approaches me and asks " I'm sorry to ask you this, but can I bum a cigarette ? " she goes on apologizing about how she never does this and her friends are upstairs and she ran out bla bla bla . Now this girl is cute! I'd say mid to late 20's A 7 easy but clearly a little shy , so I respond with "its okay, this pack came with a few extra and besides , your the sexiest bum I've seen around here , whats your name? " she smiles and we make introductions, but I want a laugh so I follow up with " you know, I wouldn't be worried if I were you. Look what happened to Ted Williams , I'm sure someones looking for a natural beauty to be the next top model or something " That got it! Next I add " do you know Ted ? " and she comes back with " Ya he used to live a few boxes down from me" WOW, I LIKE THIS GIRL!!!! a little more small talk follows and I get her # . I called her yesterday and asked her if she would like to get together for a drink and continue our conversation to which say said " sure sounds good , I'm at work right now " I tell her to give me a call later and we can talk about it. Still waiting for that call......................... So as I said brand new to the site , I've never read books or any kind of pick up related stuff. I don't know what these terms your using mean ( kino , ioi, Dhv, afc, or whatever ) Any questions, comments , help would be much appreciated!
