Hi all, I'm 25 and from Colorado. I've known about the game for about six months now, after a friend (a rather successful PUA) whom I hadn't seen since high school told me about it. Since then, I've dabbled in it, done quite a bit of reading (on forums and Neil Strauss's "Rules of the Game" in particular) but am definitely planning to get more serious about the actual application of it now. Call it a New Year's Resolution if you will. I figure joining this forum would be a step in the right direction.

Realizing that in the girl department, I'd been a complete chump (an average frustrated one to use the proper lingo) for a quarter century, I can no longer blame it on ignorance now that I've found this community. My history with girls is not particularly illustrious; I'm not a virgin, but not exactly scoring on a daily basis either. My goal is to simply be able to attract more women. I'm not exactly interested in one-night stands but I don't want to limit myself to looking solely for a long-term relationship either. I go into this with an open mind.

I would describe my pickup style at this point as one that involves humor, teasing, and trying to genuinely listen to what a girl has to say and then play off of that. I am a fan of the indirect opener; I think it can be done in a way that doesn't seem canned and can lead to un-canned conversation. I just need to work on shedding my AA and being able to say the right thing in the moment (as opposed to what I commonly do, think of that perfect response hours later). That being said, I look forward to learning more and even changing my current perspectives based on my experiences and the advice and discussions from those on this forum. Thanks for reading!
