Hi all i'm new here so i'd like to introduce myself.

I'm Derk im 20 years old and live in Holland.

The reason to join this forum isn't to immediately become a pick up artist buth to improve my social skills with women

The last time im busy with improving my self- confiedence and i start to feel better and better about myself.

I already did know pretty clear who i am but never had the guts to realy go to a girl in a pub or something. Especially because i wear glasses. And when somebody calls me nerd or something (don't happen to much i guess 2 times a year) is always tought damn do i look like a nerd, in stead of i dont care what he thinks of me (because it were always (maybe jealous) guys.

So i hope with techniques and experiences on this forum i will continue my social improvement, and my english:p

Nice of you to come and join the ranks of the society !

First off, the fact that you wear glasses. It doesn't affect you as a person, only if you let it. Wearing glasses can be a positive factor too, it takes the "intelligence" out of a person and puts it on the floor. You need to look at it this way, if they call you a geek. Tell them that you're proud being one, because you are intelligent. The glasses is just a reminder for who you are. Outer decoration is a result of inner exploration. Realise who you are and everything will be okay!

Welcome, I also just joined. About your glasses thing, if you find the right kind of glasses, rather than look "geeky" you'll actually look more attractive. My friend wears glasses but they compliment his face and he has much more success with girls than me, the glasses aren't the problem. Just make sure they fit your face and overall look. I used to wear them too, back in HS
