Heya lads, student from Ireland here, and basically I want to overcome my fear of rejection from women. My "game"(think thats the word!) consists of drinking enough beer so I no longer care what happens. Predictably this never works. I have tried the "be yourself" stuff and it turns out that girls like me, as a friend.

I think my main problem is that went to an all boys school until I went to college. I live in the countryside in a very small town, very small amount of interaction with the opposite sex. However since I started college I have moved to Dublin and a whole new world has opened up, the world of women. Basically I have gotten friend zoned when I finally had the courage to try something, each time that happened it knocked me back, and it got harder again to put myself out there, hence I have used beer as an aid. I know this is kinda sounding like I have drink problems, but I don't, I am not a alcoholic or anything. This happened me in my home town, and now that I have moved and started anew I want to stop that from happening, or at least learn not to care. I am reading Neil Strauses book SPAM, and it seems to be too good to be true.

Hopefully this is the right place to come, I need help!

Anyways, thanks for reading! :)
