I thought that getting advice from people also into this would help a lot. I'm 17 and still at school, I used to be very shy and overweight when i was younger and never was considered 'popular'. This I believe had a negative impact upon my social development as I couldn't understand social interactions. As a typically analytical person learning the details towards social interactions is very interesting for me.

" Half the battle is just defeating these assumptions. and if you do, and you just say to yourself "fuck the past, I can't reload my saved game from year 5, I'm going to make the best of what I've got", you'll already be ahead of most people stuck in dead end jobs with the same old social methods getting the same old girls.

Start small and go at it like an experiment. Go all in, see what works and what doesn't, and get better the next time. Build on your successes. _________________ -Kelly the Guy

I got into PU to help with some sticking points of my social interactions. I don't look up to anyone as gods and don't want to go back and reload my 'Year 5 save'. Basically I have used this to better understand social interactions.
