Hey guys. My name is Ares. I only added the 992 because the site wouldn't let me go with just Ares. Anyways. I live in Cookeville, Tn and I attend college here. I am newly 21. I got into the game just recently, but I had seen VH1's "The Pickup Artist" a few years back when it first came out and I was interested. The only thing holding me back was that I wanted a wing to start out with and both of us be new. Then it just kinda fell on the backburner. But after being screwed over by a bunch of girls I got tired of being an AFC and decided to become a PUA. I have been studying Pickup seriously for about a month now, reading the game, this forum, and watching "The Pickup Artist" religiously. I've been sarging for about two weeks now with a good bit of success.

I mostly like to use the Mystery Method, but I am open to new ideas and making a few ideas of my own. I love peacocking. I think it helps me out just as much as my new style of game does. I like to sarge, but I'm also big into video games, fishing, and reading (so if you have any good books on pickup tell me... I'm interested to learn).

Over time I want to become a MPUA. I know it will take a long time, but I'm willing to work at it. I want to get a stable job when I get out of college that gives me enough money so I can get my own awesome bachelor pad and go out sarging with my wing, Jasper.

I think since I mention Japser I should give him his own little section since he convinced me to do pickup in the first place. Me and Jasper have been best friends for a few months now and we were both huge AFCs. We both had terrible luck with girls. I was visiting him at his home over the summer and we stopped by a Barnes and Noble. I saw a copy of "The Game" and told him his luck with women would change if he read it and forced him to buy a copy. I was tired of his bitching about bad luck with women. I remembered what "The Game" was because Mystery had mentioned something about it in his show, I think. He read the book and was instantly hooked. It took him a few days of convincing, but he got me to read the book as well and I was hooked. He became the wing that I had wanted when I was 16 or 17. We've been sarging ever since. I've had more success than him so far, but that has more to do with luck than skill. That's pretty much the story of how I became an aspiring PUA.
