Hi all. Stumbled across this forum when I found PanPan's Online Profile/Opener thread and had some limited (so far) success taking his advice.

So I decided that it might be worth signing up and getting some real advice.

A little about myself. I'm 29 living equidistant (basically) from Providence, Boston and Hartford. It's the sticks, but I like it. Not a fan of cities, but they are there if I want to take advantage of them.

I am terrible at meeting people due to my upbringing (which I will get into only if people want to know) and am starting to realize that 30 is knocking on my door pretty loudly and I don't want to send the rest of my life looking but never touching. I've got an assload of work to do. I've been celibate since... 1998. Yes, that is sad. I know. I've heard it before.

I'm happy with my life, where I live, the car I drive, the job I have. What I'm not happy with is my lack of, as you say here, game. I have exactly zero experience when it comes to picking up women, and dating in general.

Basically I'm going to peruse here and see what I can learn. Hopefully something will click and I'll be on my way to improving my situation in regards to the opposite sex.
