so there is a girl that ive been knowing for maybe 6 years now.... we have always been friends, but now close friends.. but there's NEVER been a sexual attraction until recently. now i really have liked the girl for maybe a year now.. we finally agree to go out for drinks. now the reason why i am optimistic aboutthis going further, and believe me she is worth it, is the signs she sends me... i asked her to go to a baseball game last friday... and even tho she said she cant (it was 2 hrs notice) she sent me a txt saying... "thanks for thinking of me" i teased her with "o you were a last resort jk"...fast forward to yesterday... we agree to go out for drinks... and she txt me 2nite... "what time is the happy hour" then "i dont care where we go just as long as we get to hang out, its been a long time" (last time i saw her at my 21st bday i got shitfaced drunk and she had a bf).... so what im saying is, i know im not in the friendzone, but how the hell am i supposed to play this?? i really dont want to call this a date but technically it is our 1st..since we've known each other for a long time this cant possibly be like a normal date... she's not the real flirty type, so i dont want to be too forward and freak her out, but i definitely dont want to give her the notion that i just want this to be a friendship... any suggestions??
