Hi,

So this all started three days ago. I have a friend who went travelling. During his wild, lengthy and rather self-indulgent travels he met some guy who mentioned The Game by Neil Strauss. 1yr later and 1 girlfriend gone he takes this guys advice, goes on Amazon and buys what is now almost the bible.

Anyway, this man in the two weeks he has read the book has adopted the name Iceman, and the two days I have owned it have the name Bombabe.

I hadn't met Iceman for a number of years, we used to roll numerous times across the country and we always had game, however since 'the bible came' we had no concept of what we were doing and almost no control.

So, the night is a Wednesday, nothing special, we meet at a quiet bar to have a man-date. We sink a couple of beers, share some gambits, stories, negging tactics and the world lights up. It was like our call, our reason for life was realised.

We moved on to another bar, and bang, The Game kicks in. Before we know it we were 5 setting, 6 setting, joining members from different groups etc. disarming obstacles and everything. As good as we were before, we were even better! I have never known anything like it!

However, I didn't post this to brag because as good as we were, we weren't perfect! Iceman is the typical Alpha Male, not that I am but he does it quicker and is quiet in peoples faces, or more politely dominant! How can I be more effective around him, I can control sets by myself and have my game figured out but sometimes it's like a shouting match when he is around? I'm more subtle then that, I don't need to shout!

Lastly, we ended up in a club that was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think, now I think I know the answer to this but I'll see if you people have any opinions that may combat this. I couldn't game anyone as as soon as I spoke to them they couldn't hear me, I used all the number tricks etc I had, negged them and all that, but no listen, no effect. Are there any visual methods out there that work maybe? Pea-cocking seems to be the most obvious thing but then they still won't hear you! I suppose somewhere else seems the obvious thing to but I never want to give in, admit defeat, I want to make this work!
