I went on a dinner date and shot pool after with this girl like 3 weeks back. She had more energy than me and there was no response to any kino. At the end of the night, she said she was tired and went back to her car without so much as a hug, (that still baffles me).

But anyway, I set up something date-like today and she calls a few hours ahead of time and says she can't afford it and feels like she still owes me for last time, so she won't let me pay (even though it's cheap). She's down to do something free and invites me to her house to watch a movie. I'm thinking I'm totally in. When I get there, I find out she has a female roommate and they decided to watch Romeo and Juliet. So, there's like no talking or anything, I'm off to the side because they take up the couch and I feel like I'm being totally boring.

Her roommate retires like more than halfway through the movie and my target spreads out on the couch. Ten minutes later she sits up like she's about to go somewhere, or really into the movie. Still no talking or anything and I feel like I'm imposing, so I bail before the movie finishes. Tentative plans later in the week, full body hug.

So, am I just one of the girls at this point? Or did the roommate go to bed to give me an opening and I'm just a retard? I totally would have moved to the couch when she sat up, but she was sitting on the edge, not leaning back, which I took as a cue for me to leave. Does being invited to her house count for anything? Is her not wanting me to pay her way a bad sign? Man, this girl is totally dicking with my game. Anything you want to throw out is appreciated and I'll try her again Friday.

Sounds like you are in the friend zone and it sounds like you missed a big opportunity when she left. You should work on keeping girls entertained more so you don't look awkward standing around. But it's never to late to get out of the friend zone just show more sexual appeal to them.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not proud of my performance, which is why I posted it. I think I should have shoehorned myself in between the girls early on. It was a good opportunity to be lavished with female attention. I screwed up at the end because I assumed she was uncomfortable, when the confident thing to do would have been assuming she was just into the movie and I could have distracted her. I should be seeing her Friday, so kiss-close or bust.

Argh, dammit! I texted her today with plans and she texted back that she already had plans today, sorry (frownie face). I just texted "Oh, some other time then" because I'm tired of trying to force this. But-ah my pride as a PUA, eshe ees hurt.
