Hey mate,

I'm from Sydney- new to the game too. Just soaking up all the info I can at the moment, started with David Deangelo, now reading through The Game (and then the StyleLife Challenge after that). Then I'll probably take a look at Mystery's Venusian Arts stuff.

I've also joined up with a Sydney community, sydneysarge dunno if there's anything similar for Melbourne.

Good luck on the path mate.

gday Lysander,

looks like were both around at the same stage. Im about 1/3 of the way through "The Game" and finished reading "Mystery Method". It was a real eye opener and I finally realised how clueless I was with women, oh well better late than never.

There is a "Melb-Lair" PUA community but i dont feel like Im ready to join yet, as I still have a lot to learn and increase my confidence but it something im looking to eventually doing.

BTW, whats the Stylelife challenge?

Good to find someone else at the same level...

The Stylelife Challenge is laid out in Rules of the Game. Its Neil Strauss's follow up to The Game and it sets out a 30 day program to get a date. I haven't read it yet because I want to get through The Game first, then focus on the challenge.

Welcome to the forums:

The biggest thing I can say is that your reason for not wanting to join the "Melb-Lair"; because you aren't ready, is BS.

You will never be ready. You can read and read and read, but everything you learn is telling you to ACT. Once you start forcing yourself to open sets, you will learn to deal with your AA and get better. You can memorize 1000 books, but until you are out there actually talking to people, you will not improve.

I'm not trying to be negative; just trying to guide you in the right direction.
