Well not really, its Derek. Lol, I heard about PU about a year ago but wasnt really interested as in there were other things I wanted to work on first.

I have confidence issues cause I have mild acne on my face. Other than that I feel my body is fairly attractive. And Im pretty comfortable talking to and approaching girls. But not really in the "best" way. So now that Im about to turn 21 and really start going out to bars and clubs, I really need to amp up my game.

Im pretty outgoing, pretty nice, respectful, so I feel like I have alot to offer. Problem is, nice guys finish last, and Im tired of being the nice guy while my friend is a dick and gets laid. Honestly I feel like its more the looks than the game, but I know theres alot to his game.

Anyways, Im looking forward to learning and experiencing. I hope all the other newbies stay with this cause I think its pretty cool we can come together even though we're all "competing" against one another.

I really feel like PUA is progression of human interaction, not just a way to get laid. Sex is dope, but I dont want to be alone at 32. I think this is a great way to have fun now, but also weed through girls and really get to know them to develop a relationship.

Hey guys, just a lil update. Had a really good night breaking out of my shell and going for it.

Nothing special but I was C&F with the waitress tonight when I went out with some friends from home. They all tried flirting with her, but just came off as awkward and unattractive.

I on the other hand was pretty smooth and flirty. But not overly interested, and when my boys were cockblocking me I just watched the game and didnt pay attention.

The big move was she gave my buddy a pen cause it was from BU and he goes there.

And I said "Woa, youre giving out gifts now? Where's mine?"
She says "Uh thats all I got"
Me: I see how it is
She then gives me a purple pen.
Me: I only want that if you use it to give me your number
Her: Uh uh, maybe you can to give me yours.
Me: Yea but if i give you mine, you might not call, me on the other hand.
She smiled and kinda shrugged it off.

This was one convo in like 2 hours of on and off flirting. I thought maybe she didnt wanna do it infront of my friends so when she brought the check, I walked over to her alone to ask her to run the card and I gave her the pen back saying "Youre gonna need this to write your number down" She kinda turned me down, there was another waitress there and she said aww your cold. I played it off like "Yea tell me about it, whats up with your girl"

So then I left the pen and went back to the table. When she came over, she was like you can still leave yours.

So I did along with a $10 tip on 65. She texted me 5 mins later.

Overall, nothing too impressive. But the conversation flowed easy and was fun. And it gave me confidence to go out there on a limb. I dont mind rejection, but it was cool to get somewhere so soon.

Although I think that its a bad sign that she obviously was interested in me, but didnt want to give me her number, even when we were basically alone.... Makes me think shes more of a sweet girl and not going to give it up easily....

What do you guys think? How should I proceed from here forward?
