Hello everybody. I'm Patchy. I am a 17 year old student living in south eastern UK. I'm not very good looking, I have social anxieties and I don't have many friends.

I recently read 'The Game' and from the moment I had finished the book I was hooked, obsessed even with becoming a pick up artist. I know I am only young and I don't know if younger people like myself are really welcome here but I can honestly say that I am genuinely intrested in learning techniques and how to get good at the game.

As mentioned above. I have social anxieties and it effects my day-to-day life greatly. I'd just like to ask if learning how to play the game well and becoming a PUA would help with my anxiety.

I'd go as far to say that I am pretty intelligent (I'm a programmer and I have a BTEC diploma in ICT). I'd just like to make clear the fact that I am not expecting to go out every night to a party ect. and pick up lots and lots of girls. I'm prepared to face rejection.

I was kind of reluctant to reply. Neither of you have very many posts and I know how new guys are treated on most forums.

I'm really just looking for some pointers on where to start. I'd like to know also if being Alpha male is something you have to be born like or you can acquire it if you know what to do and you do it for long enough.
