Hiya!

I am a 25 year old musician from Holland. I used to envy a friend of mine who always seemed to know which girl to pick and how to take them home. Obviously, I asked him about it and he gave me some useful hints.
I myself am know to be an easy talker and funny guy and I found out I could use as an instrument to get in touch with girls.
I am glad to say I have had several girlfriends and one night stands, so although I am a rookie, I don't feel like I have to start from ground zero.
Only last week, my brother (with whom I often go to clubs and work together to impress girls) showed me Neil Strauss' novel 'The Game'. I find it very hard to stop reading and I love the info in it!
This book was what made me surf the Internet in search of more info

The method I like to use: I am working on that I taught myself to just step up to girls. Next, I use a witty opener or a simple 'hi'. I make sure to let the girls tell a little about themselves so I know what info I can react to. I also tell what makes me 'special' (this involves touring with my band, handwriting analyses and jokes and funny facts). I'm used to complimenting the cute girls but I will try the 'neg' strategy soon. I seriously want to learn the art of picking up girls. It amazes me and obviously, it can work in my advantage

My hobbies and passions are: music (especially writing it), movies, funny facts and psychology.

My goal is to better myself in the art of picking up girls. I do not necessarily want to sleep with 'any' girl. I certainly would not mind, but my main goal is to get more confident and better.

Welcome, nice to see another dutchie around, but since it's an english forum so let's keep it to english. First up, being able to just step up to every girl you meet is great and shows your confidence, most girls appreciate you having the nerves so that's good! I wouldn't wanna go and make an interrogation out of your conversation, especially for starters, I've made that mistake way to many times. Try using something to draw her attention like asking her opinion about something blabla, you can find lots of those around here. Also your a musician (I play guitar myself) and you might tend to tell her your a musician to make you look cool, but try to wait for that untill she actually asks about your hobbies and such else it might come across as bragging.

Also since your dutch I'd like to know what city you usually go out so I can get some tips about nice clubs, bars, spots etc.
