Rafc here, I was interested in pickup back in 2003 but being married at the time could really pursue. I understood the concepts behind nlp and it always kind a cool interest I would practice a few things on my wife and friends now and again.

I live in Hot ass Phoenix Arizona and am getting divorced at 28. I married at 20 and so I never really learned how to socialize in my age range... So I turned to the resource I remembered in the past, got excited, watched the pick up artist, got really excited, read the game and decided I was going to learn no matter what... So now I have read most of the major systems and seen many of the more popular videos.

I created an avatar and bought a new wardrobe, for the first time in ages I felt like I looked good.. I went out that next week excited ready to go, I go to the club and hit the first obvious sticking point. I had approach anxiety and I freaked out and couldn't do it. worse the friend I had encourage to do this with me talked a great game but was even more paralyzed than I was. where I could sometimes force myself to spit out an opener, badly (no control over my body language), he was they guy with his beer complaining about how this place sucked or drinking his beer after changing places.

I have since gone out solo several times but its so hard to demonstrate value alone especially when I am nervous. my best success so far was going out with a female friend of my who was trying to help despite thinking all the stuff is crap. I opened a 3 set and merged groups and got good kino and now I know what I would have done differently to # close. So now I am online looking for wings. I hope to find some people that can help me, both to build my confidence, and help me spot flaws sooner in my game, but even just for the encouragement. maybe I can even do the same.
