i found out about community just recently when i got fed up of being just a friend, or the funny guy. I got out of long term relationship, what messed up my head and however its nearly a year now, i m somehow struggling to get back on track.

I have no problem with approaching and starting up the conversation, but my real sticking point is to keep it going and escalating. Its kind of a thin line i cant to get to cross.

After i broke up, i joined a gym to keep my head occupied, so i kinda got bigger. First my thought was it makes me more attractive, but in fact sometimes it sort of scare the girls of a bit. Whats your experience with it?

We've both discovered we're in the same boat here and things can only get better. I know it's very hard to start off but think it's absolutely brilliant you have low AA, it's a very good start but also see your frustrations at being labelled the funny/cute guy, every woman will tell you humor is a turn on and that is soooo true, but if not careful you can get into the "friends" realm rather quickly if the humor isn't balanced with some way of showing you're also alpha in other ways. Getting big is good, how tall are you? Women love tall guys, but tall and broad can be a little intimidating I guess.

I also noticed you're from Slovakia, and you refer me to Hostel, I hope you're one of the good guys jk, I know you are, look forward to bumping into you on the forums and getting a load of us London AFC's and PUA's together!

Things can only get better, oh maaan you don't even realize how much true is hiding in that little sentence. Things not only CAN get better, but they actually ARE getting better. Ever since i have discovered the community and books i wanted to read all my life, but didn't know they have been written, my life is going through a change.

I m slowly realising that my frustration of how people see me have absolutely nothing to do with their actual point of view. Its all in my head, its just how i see myself, and how i think other people look at me. At the end of the day, its all just THE GAME.

For instance, i went skating to Hyde park today. There was this lets say 6 (great to boost the confidence early in the day). I ve noticed she had protective pads and helmet so i opened with: Hi how is it going? any bruises yet? Turns out i have spend next 25 minutes skating and chatting with a fitness instructor.

Now unfortunately i m not so good skater to be able put kino escalation into action as that would quite probably ended on the ground. So we just talked a lot, what is again taking me back to position of being viewed as a friend. At the end, i said a friend is waiting for me, so i gotta go, kinda hoping for number close. She than said it was nice and it would be nice to pop into each other again, telling me when she is gonna be there. NOW this is exact point, where i was supposed to ask for number. I didnt. Do i know why? NO...

Anyway next i went to this pub in Kilburn (great place, where i hang out a lot), and for some reason practice some lines on bar staff. It was fun and i actually got couple of IOIs. To get rid of any AA i opened with Do you know what is approach anxiety? And then kinda lead it to Mysterys explanation of tribes and blah blah blah, point is that i opened with something i could be afraid of and it worked.

Didnt get any number today, but considering it were my first actual conversations with strangers in last four years, im happy with the result. And regarding slovakia, well i ll put it this way the movie wasnt even filmed in slovakia

Have you guys met up to run game yet? I'm thinking of trying to find a bunch of newbies/intermediates/(hopefully)advanced in the London area and sorting out a day for everyone to come out and learn from eachother.
