Sorry about the length of the story but here is my situation:

Ive liked this girl from work for about 4 months. I got her number and asked her to coffee one day but while we were there she starts telling me about this guy problem she was having. I didnt want to overthink it so ignore it. Two weeks later she invited me over to her place because there was some drama going at work and she wanted to know. I went over to her place and we talked for hours until I left at 2am. I would text her often and flirt, until someone told me she was telling people she thought I liked her because of the the time we got coffee and the night I came over. She also said that I didnt stop talking and that I stayed over really late. After she said that she mentioned that she wanted to get with this other guy but hes engaged.

After that I stopped talking to her, until one day she told me she missed working with me and wanted to go to get coffee again. Then she said she felt that I was mad at her and I confronted her and asked her if what I heard was true. She started laughing and said she never said any of that but I knew she was lying. It's been a month now and weve been cool since then but sometimes when I text her well start talking but then suddenly she wont reply, and text me the next day apoligizing or giving me some weird excuse why she didnt text me back.

So I asked her again if she wanted to get coffee before work and I was going to ask her out on a real date. She told me she couldnt because shes broke and had other plans. After that shes been really akward at work and doesnt talk to me anymore and flirts around with every guy at our store. I want us to start talking the way we used to so I can just ask her out and find out if I have a chance or not.


Guys tell me what you think of the situation, and what my strategy should be from here on. Thanks for reading

ok man im new to this forum as well as you so ill tell you what i think, first of all stonewall her show her no interest at all make her fight for your attention after all ppl want what they cant have right?! then after she fights enough for your attention that you think shes worthy after all you should always have the mindset that u are the prize when u giver her ur attention neg her and reframe, when she txts you dont rply sometimes this is what mistery an mpua calls cat string theory shes playing with you shes holding a string and you are hoplessly fighting for it, what you need to do is become the person with the string and make her fight for it if you have any more concerns regaurding this please rply good luck.
