I am new to PUA and have only viewed video and read some books by Gambler and Sinn. I have extreme approach anxiety. I can only get a girl if she talks to me first or if I happen to tell an off the wall joke and by some miracle a conversation starts. I usually can hold a decent conversation but the intitial appraoch really stops me from talking the to the kind of girls I really want to be with.

I am also looking for a PUA group in Cincinnati, Ohio if they are willing to take an amateur like me. If someone knows of a group please let me know.

Go to the approaching/opening section and inner game sections of the forum for some pointers on how to beat approach anxiety.
