I've recently broke up with my VERY long-term gf. Not that I had amazing game before, but now I don't know where to start!

I read the Game and couldn't believe the scientific/ analytical facet of pick up being described. I'd consider myself fairly intelligent so the fact that I haven't progressed noticeably frustrates me

I have a lot of friends and acquaintances that a girls but I feel I try too hard to be the 'funny guy'. To those who don't know me, I think trying to project a 'cool' or socially proofed exterior may be misconstrued as arrogance.

I work in an extremely busy place, especially in the run-up to Xmas so I have ample opportunity to strike up conversations with girls. I just feel like I'm one or two steps away from achieving this.

Basically, what I want is to try to develop a similar mentality to those that have created these successful openers so that I can make up my own and not seem like I'm quoting someone else.
