Hey guys,

I met this girl at the end of the summer and we hung out a bunch. She was really into me. If she wasnt leaving for study abroad I think we woulda gotten to know each other a lot better.

Before she left she asked for my email adresss and I took hers (she instigated that). Its been about 3 weeks and I/She hasnt emailed. My question is should I email her to keep me on her mind? Or should I not email her to make her think I don't need her?

and if I should email her - Should I be very casual/humorous, just asking how its goin.

any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

Are you looking for a long term relationship? Those are tough dude. I'd suggest just keeping her as a friend and go fishing at home

There's nothing wrong with the guy calling or emailing first. Puas like mystery say that they call a girl like an hour after getting the number simply to establish phone rapport. You can email her if you want but keep it cocky. Don't go boring afc like "hey how are you...hope you got there safe blah blah blah".

Did you have a particularly good interaction with her that you know she'll remember? Bring it up in the email. Or you can neg her with something she did that was memorable. If she fell over or walked into a wall (yes I know a girl who did that while we were walking) or whatever bring that up.

If you haven't got something like that then you gotta use your imagination and send her something like:
Awww don't cry i remember you *spell her name wrong*

and go from there. That's just off the top of my head though...make sure you put a little thought into it so you're guaranteed a response without sounding needy, your life is more fun than her's could ever be and all that. Good luck man!
