Greetings and salutations to the single, coupled and whatever else tickles your fancy!

Im Simon, I live in Australia and have developed a new taste for the art of picking up. I have not read any books, i have only read segments on different elements of picking up or watched videos. My friend (brados) introduced me to the world of pick up and i have had some very interesting conversations because of this new development. I am a university student and i study sociology (the study of society) so to me this is an ever exciting journey where i can combine self interest and beliefs with others and understand how this world of pick up functions. I am an honest and open type of guy, i dont seek for compliments when i know they are not formidable. I wish to achieve by posting on this forum board (hopefully ) a better sense of what i am like at the moment with my pick up skills and how i can develop them and also, to which i feel is the main purpose this kind of activity is so successful is being able to give back. Sure im new and probably dont know as much as others but i think everyones input can only ever be helpful. As much as this is an introductory post, i was told that if i in essence (spill my guts) then i would be able to hopefully be advised at where i am at with pickup.

Basic Outlay:

Reasonably good looking, dresses well, very good sense of humour, kind and nice,

Problems:
- Manages to make friends easily
- Initiates into mid game quickly but find it hard to develop past it
- 'lets catch up for coffee!' oh, we are just friends?
- Mistaken for being gay

these are common themes among my current game and i was wondering if anyone would have any clue as to what could be a way to rectify these problems?
