Recently got into this since I am a 23 years and still single, never had a g/f. I realized I didn't want to live like this anymore. I am not completely useless but think it is time to go fight for what I want.
I currently live/work in New York and I am sure everyone is aware of the beautiful women here. I got into "the game" since one of my good friends, who I thought had become too much of a lover boy. HE FELL IN LOVE TO FAST and wouldn't let go of this ONE -girl that clearly fucked with his mind. All my attempt to help him failed, he went thru college without speaking to girls with purpose. But he found a game and he seems very happy with himself. So, I figured its NOW or NEVER.
I haven't used many pickup technique. But yesterday night I was drunk a little bit and used the opener "who is more likely cheat, male or female?" Although I didn't do it correctly, it blew the girl away, I felt her open up to me like no one has, silly but true.
I have read a few article on bristollair for the past two weeks, so yea i am noob. I watch a lot of TV and build websites.
I am trying to get to know women better since I haven't had much interaction with them on an emotional level...or the physical level as a matter of fact. I would like to have girls in my life to hang out with and be comfortable around them.

Try to improve yourself by the things you can actually influence.
So, go to the gym, tan, fix eventual bad teeth and buy cool clothing.
Watch/read a lot of material and just practice. Nobody said it's easy and if it were easy if would have low value. We all had to walk the path, get shot down and get out of our comfort zone but in the long run it was worth it.
