Hahaha... Don't worry, mine did too. Even maybe a few weeks ago, my self-confidence wasn't as great as it could be. It's an on-going process.
You can start by capitalizing your I's. It shows that you respect yourself enough to just do something like that.

try to find things that would help increase it so i could talk to chicks better and have a social life...
You should also stop trying, and start being. I guess it would be doing, but I like to say Being. You don't even try to do it, it's just who you are.
Finding things. You can't always be finding, you should take some time to carry it out... Always improve, and look for ways to do that. But generally speaking, you shouldn't always be trying to find.
And I admire your goals, I had the exact same ones. I remember just staying inside the house all day... Hanging out with my parents all the time was really fun -.-'
You also can't really control your inner game (emotional strength)... You can guide it to the right place, but your subconscious isn't really like learning something consciously - where everything is pretty finite. However, you can guide it to be so powerful, that your entire school will learn to love you in the matter of... I don't know, set a goal for yourself. Or multiple goals.
You don't owe it to anybody to be the same person. If you changed now, then nobody would be mad at you - the cool kids would admire that you're at least giving an honest attempt at self-improvement.
Being popular, seeing people who tried to make friends with me and do this... They were very needy, and tried to use me - they're ingenuine. If you
really start to see them as at least being friends, then this will take you much farther than a You vs them mentality.
But, the people who succeeded were the ones who respected themselves enough, and were genuine enough to express themselves freely.
There are examples of kids, (I've observed this, and experienced this myself first-hand) who were unpopular... There were shitty days after shitty days, it was endless. But then! You get some good sleep, or you have a nice, relaxing coffee... And you feel awesome. You start to do things you wouldn't normally do - like say Hi to different people, or just to more people. You're more comfortable, and a little bolder. People respected them a little more, and they didn't question any attempts at being ingenuine, or them being a try-hard, or a poser... They were just like that because they were having a good day.
Now imagine that you could have 7 of these in a row. That, to me, is what Inner Game is. I have bad days... But I'm still alive the next day. I keep going anyways - most times I feel bad it's because I've had too much caffeine or something that is physiologically hurting me... I used to make up fake symptoms, or excuse myself from talking to people by pretending I was just tired all the time.
Truth was, I was just too lazy to do anything. I didn't want it bad enough, and kept making up excuses, or really just didn't know how to do it.
I would say more, but I g2g. Lolz.
Feel Better,

PS. Set a goal to become Your Best Self... And not to be the most popular kid in high school
