So, here I am. Lord Dark Helmet. I consider myself to be half AFC / half PUA. My biggest problem is the approach, but if I am at a party or some place where other people introduce me I can usually get the girl.

I figured out how to get women when I was in the Navy. The military has very few hot chicks, so the ones that are cute get hit on constantly. So of course, the women can select the biggest baddest jar head to fuck and the rest of us get tossed aside like trash.

But one day I got sick of TRYING to talk to the cute enlisted girls. I just gave up. I thought in my head "I will never get this chick". Then a miracle happened. I was IGNORING them. I talked to my buddies like the girl wasn't even there. I wouldn't even say hello to them. It was like magic and I wasn't doing it for any reason other than I didn't think they would waste their time on me. But it made them CHASE me. They would talk to other navy guys and ask about me. It's like they couldn't believe that every guy wanted to fuck them but I IGNORED them.

I dated the hottest girl in my command for six months. One day I asked her "Why me"? She said "Because you seemed like you were better than everyone else. You had confidence. You didn't look for approval from me or try to show off. Like you always had somewhere more important to be".

It blew my mind. I was sitting on a gold mine. So I started doing it everywhere. All over the base I would act like I was to good for every girl I saw. And they all wanted to talk to me. I learned how to use a pivot (although I didn't even know I was doing it, I just had female drinking buddies).

Then I discovered David Deangelo and Mystery. Then Style and all the rest and put it all together.

I still need approach work, but I'm working on it.

Welcome aboard! I'm pretty new to this forum too, but you're going to find it extremely useful. There are a lot of good men (and a few women) here!

It sounds like your approach game IS solid. I mean, your purely indirect approach game is solid (introduced through friends, or at social events, things of that nature). Looking back on history, you know which historical PUA was a master of the indirect approach?

Casanova. He didn't just blatanly pursue, he made his presence known, stirred interest, and worked it from there.

The approaches you seek to improve upon are actually pretty indirect, they just appear to be direct. I think once you have some time on-forum and take it in, you're going to find it's just all a matter of perspective. Like I said, there are tons of really cool people here to talk with on the subject.
