today was my first week at a new job. its sorting mail in a mailroom, and its all older guys 40+ and myself(19) so i really dont talk . its kinda all spread out area im im usually just off doing my own thing. well the receptionist said im really quiet and then told me it again 2 other times and i reply with "i am" and she said yeah "its bad".

shes kinda in the front of the mailroom behind her little desk with a couple of chicks and whatnot, kinda off from where im at(menaning its in a different room but open entry)

am i making to much of this or is it something? no flirting has occured

Hey man I'm Slywalker. I think she wants you to talk to her, otherwise you shouldn't say something like that after such short time. I would play it cool, don't just hang around talking to her every second you get, since this is someone you see every day and not once in a nightclub this is a perfect opportunity to experiment, try a different approach everyday, this way you will find out what she will fall for. I love sarging women I work with, they have to see you again whether you screwed up the day before or not. And in my experience, it usually ends well, as I said, experiment and have fun with it, but be cool, don't hang around her all the time, think about mystery's cat and string theory! (ask me if you don't know about it!)

LOL I'm gonna have to agree with Skywalker, either way, she's flirting or just being nice, you have nothing to lose. You don't have to hit on her =P just open her, I'm sure she'll enjoy it. Today I open my co-worker (just for kicks) with the "should girls floss before or after", she giggled, got really embarased and we're still friends =P GL to you sir!

I agree with Slywalker and Midnight! The best knowledge comes from first hand experience! Try something, anything, whether it's adjusting your body language, opening her one morning or trying the cube! Even if you have no desire to "get" with this girl, it never hurts to just give it a shot! Maybe she has some hot friends that you'll get to meet if she sees that you're coming outta your shell and are a fun and interesting guy!
