Here's a little background on my I'm here (to satisfy your curiosities) - I've always been able to pick up DHV guys - not as many as or those that I would like but more than the average girl - although I never understood what I did to attract them, so I guess that puts me somewhere between a natural and an AFC (average f'ing chick). I figured if I can pick up fairly decent guys by pretty much smiling and batting my eyelashes, think of the hotness I could pick up if I actually understood what was going on. My dad has always been into NLP/hypnosis so I knew the basics of it, so naturally that was the first thing I thought of and started researching that and then found SS and then got into the whole PUA thing from that... so I guess I kind of came in the backway unlike most people.

Now what I want - my ex bf broke up with me about 7 months ago, and being a dumbass back then I just DLV'd myself like there's no tomorrow. Now obviously I have tons of inner game, and some outer game, and he's always been on my list of people I respect so I'd at least like to re-establish platonic relations. Given face to face contact, I'm confident that I'll be able to re-establish rapport.

But he's such a freaking stubborn guy that he won't budge for any logic. I tried one or ttwo months after the breakup to try to get my stuff back from him and no response. I know that deep down inside he'd be happy to see me and he's suppressing that, so I feel like some NLP suggestions are really the only way to go here, but I have no clue how to even begin since this is so far out of my skill level.

Perfect chance to flex your brain muscles - I will appreciate all helpful comments.

ok the answer is give it more time, or get a freind to get your stuff back, if his ego is high and he is stubborn like you say then he probably thinks your still trying to get back with him especially with all the dlv you did, so best thing is give it time, cuz the way you make it sound i used to b like him and i was one stubborn bastard with my head held high, so basically give it time or get a freind to get your stuff back, best of luck

I'm not looking to get my stuff back, I could really care less. And stubbornness is like a bitch shield, its only a problem if you don't know how to bring it down.. hence the point of my post.

I personaly believe if everyone knew nlp it would cut a lot of crap out of life cause of of the bonuses is that you learn when you are being influenced and you stop it from affecting you.

I don't disagree with you. In fact, the reason why my dad got into NLP and told me about it is b/c he was around very manipulative people for a long time and he wanted to make sure that he understood when he and others where being taken advantage of. However, I think that for most people NLP is more about creating rapport and by passing emotional barriers that hinder themselves and others, often without even realizing it.

Sigh.. I'm not asking for a philosophy lesson. Just some ideas that would be useful here.

If he's cold, and you can't communicate face-to-face, which would be preferable if you're to have much effect with basic NLP, you can look into the different posts about embedded commands in txts and such.

I'd think establishing higher value socially would attract him back to you.
'cause an ex-girlfriend is like a territory you already have explored, you may find that letting him discover that you have sides he still doesn't know may help lift your value again.

SS is designed for men to use on women, but if you rewrite them a little, probably the double binds such as moving towards New Directions / Nude erections, and finding happenis. (sic)
But leaving out the obvious most patterns in SS would probably work as well for you, if you applied a little creativity to the translation.
So if you're up for the experiment you could try to Speed Seduce the guy.

But, again, you're a place he's been, done, and got the t-shirt, so you'll have to seriously change his image of you.

Well, actually I think that often, an ex should be a pretty easy case to SS, despite the having been there, having done that mentality.

I mean, unless your ex absolutely hates you and assuming that you had some intensely pleasant experiences in the past, it would be very easy to just go.. "oh hey, do you remember those four amazziiiiing hours we spent in the bath tub together that one time...", anchor and then re-trigger. When it comes to eliciting pleasant feeling states the procedure is the same for both sexes, and since a fast f-close is really not the goal of most girls (the only game we need for that is a short skirt and low top), the gender differences equalize. And I think it would just generally be easier for girls, since we tend to talk a lot and go off on tangents v. the direct conversations that guys lead, so when the dude's attention starts drifting, just throw in a few embedded commands in there, etc and there you go.

Feel free to agree or disagree.

Also while on the SS topic, does this actually work when you don't know the chick? I've never had anyone try SS but if a guy started asking me to remember a time about something or going into one of these routines.. I'd just be like.. why??? this isn't normal conversation, why are you asking me weird questions. I wonder how girls regularly respond...

Apparently it works, if you use appropriate patterns.

Such as commenting to the waitress that she seems like she is off somewhere, maybe she's looking forward to being done with the shift, so that she can get a shower, because you know how good it feels when you've worked and finally can just relax and step in under the beam, feeling how the heat from the water penetrates you, and gets in really deep, just letting go of the day and relaxing in the moment. etc.

Most SS is pretty far-fetched when you get used to hearing the double-binds etc., but the brilliance of the patterns lie in how they subtly hint at something erogenous, while on the surface may appear completely harmless; just another customer who may have had some experience in waiting tells you how he felt about it, and so on.

It's sneaky.
But, yeah, you can probably use previous situations to elicit states.
