How I got into the Game: Well, it's a full blown miracle it hadn't found me sooner with all the exposure. Let's just say it was the combo of a blog found through an unrelated google search, channel surfing through Mystery's VH1 show, and a friend's roommate who mentioned the book in relation to "The Hills."

How long I've been studying: After the roommate incident, thinking about the blog, I ordered "The Game" from Amazon. That was mid- to late-October 2008. Though I'd begun a parallel life transformation earlier in the year.

Methods I like to use: Negs are good to me once I've built some rapport. I can do C/F well if inspired. Actually what hooked me was using Style's LMR techniques to go from "We shouldn't..." to "Now!"

Hobbies/Passions: I'm a creative type. I write songs. Music, lyrics, melody, harmony, all of it. Hard to get that to pay the bills. Luckly, writing is another passion of mine, and one that I get paid to do.

My goals: New life, new coast, new career, CHECK. (Yeah, I'm a New England boy.) For 2009: success in my new job, getting over AA, run 3x/wk and finish a 10k, not reverting back to my AFC ways, and following through on things I start... most notably this forum.

Whatever back story I wish to share: I think that I just shared it.

Unfortunately plans take me to the other side of the Bay this weekend. But I've read your blog, and I like where you're coming from. Next time you're in the area, I'll look out for a workshop.
